Today I am going to share with you a little about quality protein shakes, particularly Vegan protein shakes. I will share with you 2 different best tasking Vegan Protein Shakes that I personally use on my intermittent fasting days. Protein shakes are easy to prepare, they contain protein, vitamins & minerals and are the healthy alternative to fast food.
Here Are Some Benefits of Vegan Protein Shakes
– It is a perfectly balanced meal so you know you are getting protein, vitamins, minerals and essential amino acids. You don’t have to do tedious calculations of how many carbs, protein and vitamins/minerals to put on your plate. It is simple, easy, healthy and convenient.
– The Arbonne Vegan protein shake is formulated with non GMO ingredients and plant protein derived from peas, rice and cranberries which is easy to digest.
– You can personalize your protein shake! You can add extra protein, extra fiber by adding an extra scoop of Daily Protein Boost which delivers an extra 10gr of protein and 1/2 – 1 scoop Daily Fibre Boost which would give you an extra 6gr-12gr of fiber per serve. The extra protein and Fibre will help keep you even fuller for longer and of course keeps cravings at bay.
– You could make it a super green shake by adding the Arbonne Greens Balance to your shake (or any green powder of your choice). I choose the Arbonne Greens balance because I trust this company to use only the highest quality of ingredients and each product is tested for superior quality. The Arbonne Greens Balance contains a rainbow of fruits and vegetables and is sweetened with a natural sweetener, Stevia. It contains Prebiotic fibre, powerful phytonutrients and antioxidants. It is gluten free and Vegan.
My 2 Favourite Best Tasting Vegan Protein Shakes
I have tried so many protein shakes, Vegan and Dairy Based. With the non-vegan protein shakes, I found that I don’t feel so well after I drink them. I don’t feel well when I consume whey and milk. It also produces excess mucus in the body and I end up with a stuffed nose, very uncomfortable. I love the convenience and benefits of protein shakes so I had to find one that was easily digestible and that wouldn’t make me feel uncomfortable.
I went to the local Chemist and started looking at different Vegan protein shakes. I bought sample sachets from a few different companies and went home very excited to try them. Well, I wasn’t impressed, neither of them tasted good and I just couldn’t drink them. I eventually found 2 very good tasting protein shakes that I love. I alternate between the 2 and also choose different flavours that become available from the 2 companies. I love the Arbonne Vegan Protein Shakes and the Herbalife Select Vegan Protein Shakes. These are the only Vegan ones I can drink and enjoy the flavours.
The Arbonne Vegan Protein Shake
The Arbonne Vegan Protein shake mix comes in Chocolate and Vanilla and they have special limited edition flavours as well. The one I use is the Chocolate Vegan Protein Shake Mix and when limited edition flavours are released, I love the Chocolate Mint Arbonne Shake Mix and the Coffee Arbonne Vegan Protein Shake mix (coffee flavour sold out). You can purchase the Arbonne Vegan Vanilla Protein Shake mix here. Depending on when you come across this post, the mint flavour shake might not be available, so you can choose either the Vanilla or Chocolate flavour.
With Arbonne Vegan Protein Shakes, as I mentioned above, you can personalise them. You can add extra fibre, protein, Greens banalce powder and even mix in a sachet of Arbonne Digestion Plus to your shake. Arbonne Digestion Plus is packed with soothing notes of ginger, chamomile, prebiotics and 3 billion CFU of the probiotic Bacillus coagulans to help support normal digestive function. I use the Arbonne Digestion Plus myself and I absolutely love what it has done for my gut health & digestion. It helps keep the bowels health and regular, this is very important for proper toxin elimination and weight-loss.
The Herbalife Vegan/Plant Based Protein Shakes
The Herbalife Select Vegan Nutritional Shake Mix is also a favourite of mine, it tastes delicious! I must admit that I love all the Herbalife Shakes, not just the Vegan one. The other ones are based on soy and also contain whey but it doesn’t make me feel sick and uncomfortable like all the other whey based shakes avaiable on the market. Their flavours are all delicious and I have always found that on Herbalife Shakes, whether vegan or not, my bowels are very happy (promotes healthy bowel movements).
The Key beneficts of the Herbalife Formula 1 Select Vegan Nutritional Shake Mix are as follows:
– Each serve contains 20 Vitamins and Minerals
– Each serve contains 7gr of Fibre
– Sustains energy and satisfies hunger
– Plant protein is derived from Pea, Quinoa and Rice
– Ingredients are quality and non GMO
– Sweetened with Stevia

-Soy and Dairy Free
– No artificial flavours or sweeteners
So as you can see, there are so many key benefits in this delicious Herbalife vanilla flavoured vegan nutritional shake mix and I personally love it and use it regularly on my intermittent fasting days 🙂
Another 2 new Vegan Protein Shakes added to Herbalife in 2 delicious flavours are Tri Blend Select Protein Shake mix Coffee Caramel and Tri Blend Select Protein Shake Mix Banana. These are made with plant protein derived from Pea Protein, Quinoa and Organic Flax Seed and are not a complete meal replacement. These are taken as a snack once a day.
This contains 151 cal per serve (if you mix with water), and is to be used once a day as a snack at any time of day. It contains 20gr of protein per serve and 6gr of fibre per serve. A great vegan snack with complete protein source that contains all the essential amino acids. Made with no artificial colours, flavours or sweeteners and free of soy, dairy and gluten.
Herbalife has the other delicious Flavoured Protein Shakes that contain soy and whey. I love all their flavours and this range is the only range of protein shakes containing soy and whey that actually agrees with me. Their Current Flavours are:
As with the Arbonne range, you can personalise you Herbalife Protein shake as well. You can purchase the Herbalife Personalised Protein Powder and add a scoop into your shake, this will add an extra 5gr of protein to your shake. However, the Herbalife Personalised Protein powder is derived from soy and contains whey as well. The arbonne one is vegan plant based protein with no soy or whey protein.
I have covered 2 different companies that manufacture quality nutritional products and best tasting vegan protein shakes in this post. I love the ease and convenience of protein shakes because they are nutritionally balanced and feed my body at a cellular level. This is very important to me. Quality non-GMO ingredients, no artificial sweeteners or flavours and packed with vitamins, minerals, protein, fibre and amino acids. I have both the Arbonne and Herbalife Protein Shakes in my Pantry but I use the Arbonne one much more often because it is mixed with water so it automatically reduces the amount of calories. The Herbalife meal replacement shakes (Apart from the Tri Blend select shakes which are mixed with water) taste best when mixed with lite or ow-fat soy milk and so that will add more calories to your protein shake meal.
