Hi everyone and welcome to myweightlossjourneytips.com! Weight-loss has been my personal struggle for 18 years and I have finally developed a simple strategy to lose weight naturally while still enjoying my favorite food and without dieting or meal plans.
I have started struggling with weight since I was pregnant with my first baby, particularly starting at month 6 of my pregnancy. I managed to lose about half of the weight I have put on during the pregnancy due to sleepless nights and no time to eat proper meals. after about 2 years the weight started creeping on again. After my second baby it was piling on faster then ever and I felt I had lost control.
I struggled with being 77 pounds overweight for around 18 years. I tried within those years to lose weight numerous times. I would lose 10kg – 20kg here and there only to put them back on and more. The extra weight was causing joint pain, blood sugar problems and I was on the verge of Type 2 Diabetes. That was the scariest wake up call.
I finally reached the point where I really had to do something or I would end up very sick and would not be able to take care of my kids. Things had to change, I couldn’t take the unhealthy consequences of the heavy pounds weighing on me and my heart.
I had finally found a strategy that I could follow without diets or meal plans because all of that had failed for me in the past. As soon as I would hear or see the word ‘DIET’ I immediately felt anxiety and felt like I am being punished for life. I felt that it is so unfair how others can eat whatever they want and still be skinny as sticks. After a few days on a ‘diet’ I would feel down, depressed and start crying out of anything. I would be overly sensitive and it was having a serious affect on my mental health as well. I didn’t want my children to have a mother like that.
With my new-found strategy I was able to lose 77 pounds within 15 months and it became a lifestyle because I was feeling so good, so happy and energetic. I found it easy to stick to my new lifestyle because I understood and felt the benefits in my life.
I decided to write about my journey and document every stage of it and the progress I was having. I wanted to have it there as a ‘reminder’ to myself if ever i slip off the wagon again and the pounds start piling on. I wanted to have a go-to manual where I can be reminded of my journey and how I overcame obesity. Some of my close friends and family read my book, they loved it and encouraged me for months to publish it on Amazon so that I could help other people with my experience, my weight-loss journey & my success.
After months of thinking about it, I finally decided to publish it on Amazon and a year later I wrote a second book to accompany my journey. I want to give people hope that if I could do it, anyone can do it. Weight-loss can be achieved if you establish a few key points and follow the strategy that I have put together. I share how I have changed my mind-set and as a result of that another 3 simple steps followed which led to my weight-loss goal being reached. Ultimately, I want to motivate, inspire and encourage as many people as I can to choose health above all because health is priceless.
My goal for this website
The goal of this website is to connect to others that are struggling with obesity and weight-loss and help them through my own personal weight-loss journey. My goal is to write motivational posts and share value and tips with my readers. Occasionally I will also post recipes for my readers/followers. I will also be sharing natural products that I personally use daily to help me stay healthy and on track. I will also share natural products that I have used to help my body in regards to cravings, extra energy and optimal metabolism.These are products that have made a difference in my life and I would never share something that I don’t believe in.
